According to reports in the U.S. and the UK, Borat funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen’s fiancee actress Isla Fisher is pregnant with the couple’s first child. Fisher reportedly spilled the news to friends at an LA bar, saying, “We’ve got good news - I’m pregnant!” Cohen and the Wedding Crashers actress have been engaged for three years, and have delayed their wedding to give Fisher time to learn more about Judaism so that the couple might have a Jewish ceremony.

Warren Beatty turns 70 years old today. I’m not that well-versed in Warren’s filmography, sad to say; I’ve only seen a scattering of his films -
Shampoo,
Bonnie & Clyde,
Reds… the big ones, really - but looking at pictures of him as a youngin’, well, I can understand why any and every woman fell into this man’s arms. So let’s just go ahead and appreciate the beauty, since it’s a Friday
(and my brain hurts).

Poor Kevin. After all he’s been through, the talent-less, nothing-without-Britney guy will walk away from his marriage with just a measly million dollars.
Yes, Brit and Kevin have finally reached a settlement in their divorce. They will share custody of their two boys and are just waiting the final signature from the judge, before all of this madness is finally put to rest.
I’m beginning to think Kevin Federline is an evil genius.

No doubt Paris Hilton will find someone to screw to get out of this mess, but the mere thought of her facing prison tickles the crap out of me!

Prosecutors asked a judge on Thursday to revoke Paris Hilton’s probation for reckless driving, which could lead to jail time for the celebrity socialite, the City Attorney’s Office said.
A hearing has been set for April 17 for prosecutors to argue that Hilton, 26, violated the terms of her probation by knowingly driving with a suspended license, said Nick Velasquez, a spokesman for the city attorney, Rocky Delgadillo.
The hotel heiress and star of the reality TV show “The Simple Life” was sentenced to three years probation in January after pleading no contest — the equivalent of a guilty plea — to alcohol-related reckless driving.
Five weeks later, police pulled Hilton over again in the city of West Hollywood for driving without headlights and impounded her car, a $190,000 Bentley, when they discovered her license had been suspended, authorities said.
The case was then referred to the City Attorney’s Office.
At the time, Hilton’s spokesman, Elliot Mintz, said his client was not aware that her driving privileges had been curtailed. But prosecutors have since concluded otherwise.
“We are confident that we have sufficient evidence to prove that her license was suspended, and that she had knowledge of that suspension,” Velasquez said.
If found to have breached the terms of her probation, Hilton could be sentenced to up to 90 days in jail, he added.

And she just happens to have a movie coming out, but I’m sure the timing is purely coincidental. Here’s what Halle Berry told US Weekly about her suicide attempt:
“I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming, when I had an image of my mother finding me,” she says.
“She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low,” Berry said.
“I promised myself I would never be a coward again.”
Berry describes her second marriage, to singer Eric Benet, as “really horrific.” “We were in sex rehab after one year. I wish I had left then, but I was putting everyone’s needs before mine,” she says.
I’ve never cared much for Halle, mainly because she’s always come across as one of those pathetic, woe-is-me type women who dates loser after loser and blames everyone else for her problems. Attempting suicide; really unfortunate. But using it to promote your new movie? Just really low.

I must say, I’ve been impressed with Bebe’s marketing techniques lately. They’ve managed to present themselves as ladylike, sophisticated, stylish and chic.
Through Mischa, they also appeal to the young and trendy. These ad campaigns really makes me want to go out and buy this trench coat (unfortunately, the site says it is not available for sale. Why do they even bother to shoot this if its not even available sale??). . .
. . . and this dress. . .
. . . and basically everything in the catalog as well. Even though the fashion in the catalog seems to be targeted at a more sophisticated audience, it just looks soooo cool with this jet as a backdrop!
Their website is quite well designed, comprehensive and easy to navigate too. And some of the clothes shown actually look nice.
The only problem with all this is their actual store and products. Have you BEEN to a BEBE store? Because the ambiance it emanates feels nothing like this. I’ve tried. I’ve been inside many times trying to look for remnants of this style, I even asked if they had this dress that Mischa was wearing in the ad (to which the sales people told me they have never seen in the store before)- nothing.
In reality, the actual store feels cheap, and most of the clothes look cheap, slutty and way overpriced, like these two tops shown above.

Even Eva Longoria- who always looks so chic and elegant- looks cheap wearing this Bebe top on the cover of this month’s Cosmopolitan.
So kudos to Bebe’s marketing and web design team, and to those in the Bebe design and store concept team- a little revamping is in order. The products have to FIT the image!
